Hey amigo, I really like the direction you took this one. But there are few things you could do to make it shine even more.
Suggestions: 1. Try some different color schemes. Like a pink and yellow. If you go to an art store any time soon, ask for a "Color Wheel." That'll help you match colors better. 2. I would stay away from the "brushy" strokes on this one. I think for this kind of design or logo, slick and smooth lines work best. 3. The gears on top of the head are getting lost, I would make that section a different color so you can tell they're gears. 4. Try a gear nose... 5. I know you were trying to go for a "Luchador" type feel, but I think it could be bolder and perhaps cover more area. We can discuss more tomorrow, but overall keep it up. You're definetly improving rapidly.
